How wide
Our chains are listed in MM.(millimeters) Example: (1MM) very thin chain. (6MM) about 1/4 inch in width.
MM to Inch Conversion Table
1mm = 1/32 inch
2mm = 1/16 inch
3mm = 3/32 inch
4mm = 1/8 inch
5mm = 3/16 inch
6mm = Just under 1/4 inch
7mm = Just over 1/4 inch
8mm = 5/16 inch
9mm = Just under 3/8 inch
10mm = Just over 3/8 inch
11mm = 7/16 inch
12mm = Just under 1/2 inch
How long
This image is for an average build. Your chain length may vary depending on the size of your neck. Most average men require and extra 2 inches to achieve the same length.
To determine your length you can measure the length of any chain you already have or use a piece of string, then measure that with a ruler.
The most popular length for women is 18 inches, for men it is 20 inches.
Anklets and bracelets should be measured loosely, you do not want a tight fit on these items.
